Our story
The JBT Group was founded by Denis Medeiros in 2002, with five highway units and one local unit. Today, we count over 200 trucks, 500+ dry vans and refrigerated units, and one million square feet of warehouse space.
Denis continues to lead the JBT Group. He brings over 40 years of experience in the trucking industry, encompassing nearly every role from driver to dispatcher and operations manager.
We continue to operate by the same simple principles that defined us as a small business: open and honest communication, integrity, and treating customers the way we’d like to be treated.
Our people are united by these shared values, and we’re proud to work alongside them.

Our core operating companies are JBT Transport, Heritage Truck Lines, Heritage Warehousing & Distribution, Heritage Logistics, Heritage Southern Logistics, and Drumbo Transport.
Together, we serve global clients distributing their products intercontinentally, Canadian companies transporting goods within Ontario, and North American companies shipping goods across the continent.

At the JBT Group, our trucking, warehouse and 3PL operations have a unified focus on safety and customer satisfaction - from beginning to end. We take pride in continuing to provide customers the same fast, friendly and efficient service we provided when we had only six trucks.
